The Blackout Buddy CO is ETL Certified to UL2034 CO standards. If dangerous conditions are detected, the Blackout Buddy CO will blast an audible and LED flashing alarm.... Even during a power outage!
Detects dangerous Carbon Monoxide (CO) Gas from common sources such as gas or wood burning fireplaces, leaking gas appliances, gas boilers and heaters –including portable, clogged chimney, running automobiles, and other CO omitting equipment.
Just leave the Blackout Buddy CO in your wall socket and you’ll never be in the dark. We suggest plugging it into a low wall socket as that is the ideal position for CO detection. Backup replaceable AA batteries provides added security and continuous protection even when power is lost.
The Blackout Buddy CO has a large LED showing you the current CO levels. Real-time CO level (ppm) provides vital information at all times.
When the power goes out, the Blackout Buddy CO automatically turns on for emergency light. Always ready with two sources of power, either plugged into a standard 120V AC outlet or replaceable AA batteries. The CO detection continues, even during a power outage.
